Let me introduce myself
I’m montana!
But my friends call me Tana or Monty. I was born and raised in beautiful San Diego, CA, and I consider myself so lucky to have grown up in a city that has it all. I’m 31 years old and have been married to my amazing husband, Jordan, for 8 years. We tied the knot in 2017 at the gorgeous Green Gables Estate in San Marcos.
People often ask about my heritage, and they’re usually surprised when I tell them I’m a mix of Cambodian, Chinese, German, and French Canadian!
I’m a homebody at heart. While I love exploring the world, I’m at my happiest when I’m at home. I love hosting get-togethers for any occasion with my loved ones. And yes, I’m an avid gamer! I’m all about my PS5 and Switch, and I’m absolutely loving Hogwarts Legacy and Mario Kart at the moment. When I’m not on those, I’m usually on my PC, getting lost in cozy games. I’ve also rediscovered knitting, so when I finally get some "me" time, you’ll find me working on blankets and other creations, with an iced matcha or iced chai tea in hand.
I LOVE TO TRAVEL
Throughout my life, I’ve been lucky enough to explore many corners of the world. I’m absolutely captivated by different cultures and the chance to experience what life is like elsewhere. So far, I’ve traveled to France, Italy, the UK, China, and all throughout the United States.
There’s so much more I want to see! Some of the top destinations on my bucket list include South Korea, Japan, Cambodia, Switzerland, Iceland, and Ireland.
I'm available worldwide so if you have a destination wedding, take me with you and I'll capture your love and all the beauty surrounding us!
things that bring me joy
Music: My love for music knows no bounds! I grew up listening to emo, alternative, screamo, and rock, but my music taste really spans across so many genres. Classical, techno, country, jazz, acoustic, metal—honestly, I’m here for all of it!
K-pop: If I’m ever in LA, you’ll catch me shopping for K-pop albums and a bunch of goodies I probably don’t need. BT21 merchandise? Yes, please—Tata is my favorite! I’m obsessed with BTS and Seventeen, and I’m constantly collecting photo cards. My biases are Kim Taehyung and Kim Mingyu, without a doubt.
Concerts: This ties in with my love for music but growing up, I spent a lot of time at rock concerts with my dad, which turned into a love for events like Warped Tour and other live shows. Some of my all-time favorite concerts? BTS and Avenged Sevenfold—totally different genres, but both amazing in their own way!
Amusement Parks: One of my goals is to visit every Disney park worldwide (I've been to Disneyland, Disneyworld and Hong Kong Disneyland) but I’m also a huge Universal fan (because, hello, Harry Potter and the studio lot tour!).
Baking: There was a time when I almost gave up my biology major to pursue a career in culinary arts, as cooking and baking have been passions of mine since childhood. The Great British Bake Off is one of my favorite shows!
random Fact
Photography is my career, but I started out studying biology in college because of my deep passion for conservation and animals. At one point, I envisioned a future working with animals as a trainer or in research, but photography became my true path—and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
I’m a proud annual pass holder at the San Diego Zoo and Safari Park, and there’s nothing I love more than taking my camera to the parks to capture the amazing creatures that live there.
